Are your feet getiing wet or just hot? Your feet are right behind the head's and near the exhaust. They are going to get hot in warm weather. BMW will do the same thing. Any opposed motor will. The antifreeze question. Do you have any leaks any place? If no external leak check your oil and see if the level is high. Also check to see if the oil is milky in color. If it is milky you probably have a head gasket leaking. You can do a leak down and compression test to check this also. If it is a head gasket make sure you change them both.
