Hmmm.... just wondering is there anyone out there that remembers the 'California 1000' annual Road Tour out of 29 Palms / Yucca Valley, sponsored by Hutchinson's Harley-Davidson? I think surely that (?) must of went on for at least 20 years or more - I attended about 8 or so of those in the 1970's thru 1980's. I suspect they probably stopped that one due to liability concerns.... seems every year a few dudes bit the dust on that one!
