My camera is about to drive me nuts!

Just so you all know - I charged the batteries and was carrying a spare pair - new Kodak rechargable camera batteries. Aaarrgggh! Anyway
We start the trip - joined by the mysterious Golden Power Ranger on one badass BMW K bike that is maintained in immaculate condition!
Sorry about the tree - it's dead anyway.
Nothing particulary picturesque about our 'flight' east on I-20 to Hwy 6 or the turn South to Hico, TX. 30 to 60 days from now that drive will be fantastic as the wild flowers will be in bloom and covering the bar ditches and the meadows. We'll go back and get good pics then. :)
Both of us make equipment changes at a rest stop. While it is quite nice in the temperature department while stopped - there is a noticable chill in the air...at...healthy road speeds. Seems as though someone has an electric vest...at least I have a windbreaker to add a layer with.
Our destination!
Camera failure (OK kids, ya gotta kinda use your imagination here)

When we pulled up there was a line of motorcycles parked on the street behind the restaurant. The end bike was a beautiful metal flake gray Hayabusa. Most of the remaining bikes were all Ducatis. I've not seen so many Ducatis in one place at one time other than at a show.
Now ya gotta imagine the sammich. Ham and turkey with melted cheese, mater, onion, lettuce on a big ol' roll. I got the coconut mirangue pie (calf slobbers as high as your hand sideways) and my compadre had the 'Black Forrest' pie. This camera has bad Jui Jui!
Oh well, at least it caught the line of Harley that had pulled in next to us. This is quite the popular place; a beautiful drive from most everywhere!
We returned up Hwy 6 back to Dublin, TX to the Dr. Pepper museum and "Ol' Doc's Soda Shop". I "had" to pick up a new T-shirt for my girlfriend. Ya know - extra points - just in case she got mad at me for something, ya know?
Well of course the camera didn't catch the front shots. Should have known when it jammed up. This is advertising that is painted in the alley across the street - my opinion would be that it is folk art...
It's a hardy ride into the sunset...blinding sunset...and back home just as the sun sinks under the horizon. What luck!
