I hadn't ridden for 20 yrs. I purchased a Suzuki Volusia 2004. I guess it depends on the type of riding you want to do...cruiser or sport. For a cruiser, the Volusia is a great bike (its now the M50). Lightweight 550 lbs, low seat height 28", shaft drive so no maintenence except change out the rear gear oil, 2 bolts drain refill. Excellent bike and NO complaints. Also, you can get the everyday used for $4000 plus/minus.
Take a motorcycle training class at your Community college 1st. It may save your life. Oh yea, wear a helmet, you've only got one mug!:D |
