sell car to get ss 600 and winterbeater?

well i kno this is a motorcycle forum, but i was wondering what you all think i should do.... i could sell my car which is a 2003 hyundai tiburon..yes a hyundai... and just get a 600ss because even a 600 would be half of what im paying on insurance now which is 4k/yr and its starting to kill me, so i would just get rid of my bike and car get a 600 and get a car within the 5-6k range just for winter.. its really bothering me tho, i dont wanna sell this car :x

That sounds like what I did for a while while I was in college and after that, when I was trying to save up for a house. I think it was worth it. There are alot of cars you can be happy with for 5-6 grand. Get something reliable and fun to drive like a Honda Accord for example, or if you like maybe a small pick-up. They aren't bad on gas and aren't anything to be ashamed of and then you get to ride your bike in the summer. I found it to be a good experience.

I may be the wrong person to give you advice on this. The money I paid for my bike is more than I have paid for all my cars combined. (5 cars) :D

I wouldn't have it any other way. Grant you, I do all my own work on my cars so they end up looking pretty good in the end. If you are mechanically inclined, do it! You can pick up an eraly 80's VW Golf for $1000, put another $1000 into it and the thing would fly.

I guess you have to know your way around cars. You drive a Hyundai. :D

If your paying $4K a year for insurance on a car, I don't think you would be better off with insurance on a 600, obviously you have some tickets ect. which has your insurance so high in the first place. :shock:

Tirbourons are garbage i remember back to street racing some rich kid put on every single mod u could possibly find for the 03+ tibby and it still ran 14's..it just wouldnt go any faster...I beleive it was supercharged with a 6 puck clutch, full exhaust and all types of mods i cant remember right now.

Bottom line is they decpreciate in value quite a bit. so if yours has high km's on it or isnt a V6 its not going tobe worth much.

If your looking at a newer 600 ss your not going to have much money left over for a winter beater.
