I did not know where to post this question, here or the noob question place, but nonetheless.
I just got my first bike, a GS500F.. it doesnt have any real storage space that I know of (the spot under the seat cover is very tiny and i was told not to put my documents there). So my question is, where do people usually put their insurance and registration documents when they are riding? I assume you dont keep it in your pocket, so are there are suggestions? Id rather just be able to hop and and ride off then worrying about remembering to put them in my pocket before i leave. Please, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |

I have a little keychain/wallet that I keep my bike key on. All my papers inside (ins. reg. etc.). Plus a couple dollars in case I need gas $ and forgot my (real) wallet.

I carry my insurance card in my wallet. My wallet is either in a zippered chest pocket in my jacket or in my saddlebag. I do not carry my registration. It is not required here in OH.

Insurance and tag in wallet behind license. That way I always have them with me. I don't leave anything on my bike and I would hate to forget them at home when I ride.
Yeah I suppose this is best. Thanks for everyone's answers. I am just used to a car, and have the good ol glove compartment :) |
