how many of you would just like to pack up and move to the woods

I thought about buying an acre in the middle of the woods and plopping down a small efficient house nothing big and nothing extraordinary. I would take care of the utilities by putting in a well for water, get a wood burning\water heater type wood stove which they do make to take care of heat and so on and to install some solar panels to take care of most of the electrical needs. for entertainment i would get a free to air satellite system which could pick up over a hundred free digital channels plus locals, to finance this i would sell my leave it to beaver home and all my material possessions including my 8 cylinder gas guzzling truck and get a small fuel efficient car, then i would sell the boat, motorcycle and etc. in the process quit my stressful 50 to 60 hour a week job and get a security job or minimum wage job to take care of the basic carefree lifestyle living expenses, and if the minimum wage couldnt do the trick i would just work three to four months out of the year doing what i do now"pipe welder"and make the same amount as i would a whole year working as a security guard or etc.

Word to the wise, keep your truck or trade for an old beater truck. If you live in the woods, you've got to have a truck. Lot of people trying to do what you want up in Washington and Oregon. Talk to some of them first.
