New and need advice =)

My name is Allison and I am wanting to buy my first bike!
I am a super newbie at this and I'm just wondering what kind of bike is the best bike for me, being a girl (and kinda small [[5'6 120lbs]]) AND being a newbie.
I know all of you were newbies at this once haha so I would love to get any help I can and get all the feedback I can

My twin sister is about your size and she rides a 250 rebel. Great on fuel,cheap insurance, easy to handle. If she drops it ,which she has , she can pick it up by herself. Biggest negative for this bike is that it is not good on the hiway. I used her bike for my skills test and quite enjoyed riding it.
