Default triumph article disagree

regarding the article on triumph being the oldest motorcycle still being produced i agree .but the first true production motorcycle was as far as i know built in 1885 with a wooden frame and in it was a 264cc 4 stroke by ????they also started with cycles and later built cars and still do, any idea?

Yeah I think it was saying they were one of the oldest brands, that's a press release from Triumph. I think the bike you are refering to is at http://www.cyclechaos.com/wiki/Daimler. I also think he went on to become Mercedes-Benz.

That's a picture of it. I actually had the name spelled wrong before looking to make sure it was Mercedes-Benz he was affiliated with.

good luck cutting and sanding ?and don't chip it a classic in the making ,then stick it on ebay ,and make a fortune eeeeeeh?

Thumbs up triumph motorcycle sales

I used to own a 1953 speed twin with a spring hub.I knew they would make a comeback. They were always a well made Bike!!! I guess you can probably tell my age now.

That was built by Daimler in Germany.

Daimler AG recently built an exact replica of this bike that runs and can be ridden.
