Default 94 BMW k75 Problem

So I recently got a 94 bmw k75s.
Well I am having trouble with it. First, it does not like to idle when cold, and takes about 10 minutes of high-revving driving to get it to not die.
So I read an article about the TPS, and when you just begin opening the throttle, it should make a click. Well it didn't. So I tried adjusting it as said:
To fix this:

Loosen the two screws holding the TPS to the rear end of the throttle bodies. You want it so it can turn fairly freely. Unplug the connector from it.

Now start the bike - and adjust:

- Brass screws to 1 or 1.5 turns out from gently bottomed out
- Idle adjustment screw to get engine idling at 1,000-1,100 RPM

Shut off engine.

Leave the throttle alone, and get your ear down next to the TPS. Turn it counterclockwise (looking from the rear) until you JUST hear it click. Now turn the throttle ALL the way open, and listen - you should hear it click again. Snug up the screws at this position, and check the setting hasn't changed. You should hear a click JUST as the throttle fully closes - and when it is fully opened.

Reconnect the TPS wire.

I did everything but adjust the brass screws.
However here is the problem: When I just open the throttle, it will click, however it does not click when I open the throttle all the way.
Well I started it up, and the thing was completely erratic. It didn't want to stay running without heavy throttle, even with the choke completely on.
I tried this multiple times, but I could only get one click.
So do you guys think my TPS might be shot?

What is a good thing to check for cracks/leaks? My bike seems to be running extremely lean

I've always used a small amount of spray carb cleaner while the engine is running. The RPMs will go up if any gets sucked into the system.
