Default Abnormal tire wear

I live in New mexico, not the greatest roads, but not to bad.
A fellow at one of the local shops told me the same thing, except he referred to it as "the spot". We as riders have subconsiously picked a spot in the road that we continuosly ride, therefore our tires will wear accordingly because of the wear in the pavement from the auto's!
I ride slighty left of center, regardless of lane.
Thanks, Coalman.
P.S. when I say "right side" I'm standing in front of the bike looking down at the tire.

How many miles on the tires? Regardless, the fix is replacement, consider doing both. As for more wear on the right side, it's because we drive on the right side of the road. When we encounter curves, the radius is less when making a right turn from the right side of the road, hence our tires wear more on the right sides as the lean angle is more acute. Over time, the right side gets worn more than the left.

I don't know where you are from but in CA that was a common complaint except is was the left side of the tire. "My front tire is wearing more on the left side than on the right". Our service manager said that because alot of the roads in the area are "convex" the right side of the tire makes more contact with the road surface than the left side causing it to wear faster and get "cupped".

I have a 2004 Bmw 1200 Cl. It shows extensive cupping and wear on the right side of the front tire, and has also pulled slightly to the right since new. Had it checked at the shop when it was under warranty they said they couldn't find anything. (Imagine that!). Any suggestions?
