I snapped a 10 year old belt on my Buell doing wheelies stuntin with some friends and i have the new belt i'm just curious how long or hard it will be to take care of myself. I'm moderately mechanical. I know all basic mechanic skills i'm just curious the time frame so i could set up a work weekend to get it done. Thanx guys for all the help and wish me luck.

I would recommend getting a manual to get the correct specs on tension. It is not a difficult job and should take no more than an hour or so. Be sure to get the rear track adjusted correctly to avoid stability problems. Carefully inspect the sprockets for wear and replace as necessary. worn sprockets will greatly shorten the life of a new belt.
