Depends on your outlook. It's certainly priced right; what you need to determine is whether the Buell is the bike for you. It took me about 2 days to decide. I've never regretted my decision. However, many of the Buell forums are filled with whiney complaints from people who apparently thought they were buying a Sportster-powered Gixxer and immediately became disenchanted. You absolutely can't want the long, high-winding powerband of an inline four if you buy the Cyclone, or you're in for disapponintment! I have my Jap IL4's for that particular adrenaline rush. The Cyclone is a totally different creature, and I love it for what it is.......and what it's NOT. RIDE IT. Not just around the block. If you come back with a huge grin on your face, then Welcome, Brother Bueller!:)

Hey my supervisor needs to sell his bike. I've ridden it, and was VERY impressed by it. I come from a motocross background so the seating posistion is much more comfortable to me than a rocket. I haven't driven a 500 ninja yet but if i get a sports bike that'll be the one.
It has an aftermarket intake/exhaust, a super chip, and some carbon fiber. It looks great, he says he could easily sell it for 4000 but he hates to see me buy a 250 ninja (which was my orginal plan). Is this a deal i can turn down? -patrick |
