Anyone ever had any experience with Buell?

Browsing some motorcycle dealership websites i often come across the manufacturer'Buell'. Has anyone owned one or known someone who's had one?You dont hear about them as much as say Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha etc but just looking at a picture of a Firebolt 1200 and it really does look the part. Are they just some terrible chinese manufacturer like Hyosung and Jailing? or do they actually make legit bikes?

Buell is a division of Harley. Been around a while and make great bikes.
