Anyone ridden a 2007 or 2008 Buell Lighting?

Does anyone own or have you ridden any of these models? I like the idea of a torquier, belt drive bike that's not a cruiser, but I've heard Buell has had some reliability issues in the past. How do these perform? Have you had any problems with it? Does this bike have the vibration of a Harley or is that not an issue?

I went to a demo days event last summer by Harley and rode a few of their bikes one of which was a Buell although I cannot say for sure it was the same model. It was a step in the right direction from the other bikes they had to offer but even with the torque the bike would have been passed up by a 600 rocket by the 1000 foot mark. The breaks left the biggest impression on me since they were great. It would be a great"hooligan"bike because of the torque and short swingarm. Never noticed any bad vibration on that bike or a buddy has one that must be close to ten years old now. Also to the best of my knowledge he has not had any major problems. Performance wise though is still a step behind the four jap 600cc rockets in the engine power and suspension, breaks were spot on but it will be the best thing made in America, and I normally like to bash Harley.All of that said the same thing is true if you want a sport bike not just a sporty bike you will have to look to Japan. Honda would be my first choice but you will have to make your own. Regardless have fun on the thing.
