Buell. No More.

For those who haven't heard - Harley-Davidson has "Discontinued" Buell Motorcycles.

This has hit the Buell faithful hard.

Harley sold Buells in HD dealerships - talk about a culture clash! HD builds a darn fine cruser - Buell built exceptional sport bikes, but I'll bet if one were to look at Buell's balance sheet I'll bet it was costing HD serious cash to keep it open. If it was running in the black and adding to the bottom line "The Motor Company" would not have shut it down. Buell did so much R&D, the products they were rolling out were "Revolutionary" not "Evolutionary" as the HD line tends to be. It may be news, but an HD isn't an especially good value for the money - but the Buell was an outstanding value.
Someone had to pick up the tab.
