Default 1980 CB650 hesitation upon acceleration

Hello guys. I'm finally putting my Honda '80 CB650 back on the road. I've been through the carbs, set floats and cleaned jets. It is now running relatively good at idle and I can rev it to higher rpms. However, I have hesitation coming off of idle. The floats are as close to 12.5 as I can get them. The idle jets are clean and I have synced the carbs at idle. It appears that I only have a couple of adjustments. One is the slide/needle adjustment in the carb tower and the other is the idle needles. The bike is original. I know 'cause I bought it new. The carbs are balanced and I don't want to lose that without some brainstorming with you guys. Any thoughts.

Thanks, Richard.
