'81 CM400T No Power (fuses and battery good)

This is my second year with my 1981 CM400T. It ran good up until fall last year when it didn't start one morning. The battery was old, and mostly dead. I just replaced the battery this spring but when I turn the key nothing happens electrically. The headlight and taillights do not turn on. The turn signals, horn, and of course the started does nothing.

My digital multi-meter tells me the battery has 12.6v. The master fuse as well as the other 2 below it are good (read out with the ohm meter). I also ensure 12.6v across the master fuse. I also checked for 12.6v between the positive battery terminal and several places on the frame, engine, etc.

Are there any other easy "gotchas" as far as electrical is concerned on these bikes? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I found a broken wire (red, 12v positive?) on the ignition key assembly. Soldering it back on solved that problem!
