Default 900-F Electrical fault. shuts down

My 1982 900-F has an electrical problem, it shuts off like I used the kill switch after about 5 minutes running time, when it shuts down there is no elecrical power ( no oil light or head lamp ). Try turning the ignition key on and off and nothing. Wait for a few minutes and turn the key and I have electrics, bike starts and runs for a few minutes and shuts down again. Checked for lose wiring and all looks good , battery is top notch. Any ideas before I replace everything ?
Thanx for any info :)

Wiggle the kill switch? My CB450 had a hair trigger, if it was a fraction of a millimeter off, you had nothing.
