Default Me too!

Yeah, when you are actually riding, this really sucks a big one. Just finished a 100 mile parade run, on the way home on my 2007 SV-650 (under 4000 miles on it), downshifting on an off-ramp about a mile from home, and my shifter just falls off. I struggle off to the side (as I can't downshift and I'm in...oh 5th!), throw on the hazards and see it dangling there. Was able to get it into a lower gear and chug home. Funny thing, the bolt and washers are still all nicely connected, will have to use needlenose pliers to actually be able to get it screwed back in - it is like it just worked its way out of the threads. Was wondering if locktite would be alright to use - looks like it from the posts...
