Default My 82 Magna is not being nice to me.

So I put in a new starter relay cause the old was shot, all the wiring before I put it in seemed to be fine and then when I put in the new relay the fuses broke right away after hook-up, I'm not a happy camper right now. Going into winter I need this done before I shut my baby down, any help would be awesome, cheers.

Default Easy Question

Cabbie316,

I am sorry that I do not have an answer for your electrical problem, but since you have a 1982 Magna, which has the same VF750 engine as my 1982 Sabre, I would like to know if you burn premium fuel in your bike, which is 91 octane here in the USA. Oddly enough no answers have been posted to my question about this on this forum, nor have I had any other luck finding out what the recommended fuel octane is for this bike.

Thanks in advance!
