Default Can anyone tell me the year and model of this bike.

Hi guys,
I just picked up a pretty beat up dirt bike. The frame number is KX080E-0180L5. It has the saddle off a kx100 on it but from the frame number I'm guessing it's a kx80? Am I right? My main question really is does anyone know what year it is?
Thanks

It looks like you have a 1985 Kawasaki KX80-E3. Also your frame number seems to show that its not a canadian or us model which should have by then had a 17 digit VIN. It looks like in 1986 quiet a few models used engines left over from the E series and really its just a dizzying array of models after 1985. I've cleaned up our page that covers this bike some(Kawasaki KX80), but its still a mess.

Hi, Im a new guy with a question. Would the rim setups off a 82 kz750 csr fit on a 76-77 kz900? (Both are rear drum brakes and single front disk brakes.) Would or are the axle's and spacer's the same? There's a set I'm thinging of buying. (F19, R16) My kz900 has F19, R18 on it, I'm lowering the back, I've got some 11in. struts and lowering brackets, but i like the look of 16in. rim to go with it. What do you think? Thanks. TK
