Default How do you remove the throttle cables from a 2002 Kawasaki Prairie 650?

I'm trying to take apart my son's 2002 Kawasaki Prairie 650, but I'm having troubles with the throttle cable. In the manual, to remove the entire carburetor it says to remove the Throttle cable lower end, but I'm still unsure exactly how to do that. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
