Default 94 GS500E right side engine cover

Hello :)
Just purchased my first bike (Finally!) 2 days ago.
94 Suzuki GS500E 15K miles.
$750, visually Garbage up close (idiot spray painted Over the regular paint after dropping it sometime)
Just light scrapes, nothing major was damaged.
Its mechanically sound, which is why I bought it.
No bad engine sounds while choked, idle, or riding.
Shifts smoothly.
No smoke out of the exhaust.
and no leakage.
etc etc.. mechanically checked out.

But to the point.
The right side engine cover (rear brake side) has some issues tho.
Its missing 3 bolts.
and the main thing, all around it is sealed with what "Looks" like rubber cement.
So I searched google and only found one explanation, that its probably gasket sealer.
Right side engine cover / gaskets - Honda RC51 Forum : RC51 Motorcycle Forums
^^ the post I came across.

Might not be the same on all bikes, im not sure.
Is that the case with this? simply WAY too much gasket sealer?
Theres ALOT of it, not just a little bit seeped out from being put back on but a whole crud load.

I plan to get the missing bolts for it, remove it and clean it up but.
Is it true that there is no gasket for that cover and just use an even amount of gasket sealer when putting the cover back on?
Its not leaking or anything, just looks an utter mess.
and not going to take it off without the proper material to put it back on the right way.

(not a pic of my bike, just a description of what and where im talkin about)
out circle is the engine cover I speak of.

Also
(inner circle)
the small Suzuki emblem cover is missing and whatever that spins right inside is exposed.
Not about to go riding around letting dirt or debri get in there.
So is there a replacement piece for just that or do I have to buy the entire cover?

Thanks!

(heres the example) not my actual bike.

Browsing around some more, think I answered myself but im no expert.

OEM Parts Suzuki GS500E 1994 CRANKCASE COVER - Cheap Cycle Parts

if that is correct.
Then it would appear I need 2 gaskets and the Clutch release cap?

Looked at that before but wasnt certain which side that was for.
Then noticed the dipstick a min ago which indicates its the right side cover?

anyone able to confirm?

sry half out of it and not fluent with this bikes mechanics yet.
