First motorcycle- Suzuki dr200se, or kawasaki ninja 250r?

Well heres the details. i am 15 years old, 5'5''tall, 130 pounds and ready for my motorcycle temps. but i am contemplating on my first vehicle. i have decided on either a kawasaki ninja 250r, or a suzuki dr200se dual purpose bike. the ninja is a 250cc crotch rocket capable of 90mph, while the suzuki is a dual purpose dirt/street bike 200cc capable of 85mph. since i will be a new rider, i need a cheap effective small bike for getting around cincinnati. the ninja gets about 60mpg, while the suzuki gets 105mpg. they are in the same price range and i need your guidance on which bike you think would be better overall.
