Ok. I'm rebuilding the engine on this bike I just bought, which is a 1993 GSXR 750w. I go to sites like Babbit's Online, Bike Bandit, etc. and can find the parts. But when I go to get the parts I need, some say Model P and some say Model R/S. How can I tell which part I need for my bike. Is it marked on the engine in some way, or on the bike.
I was told to look at the VIN number, but all I can see is numbers and letters. Nothing special about model and such. |

That's not exactly what I'm talking about. For example, on Babbit's Online, they have two version of air Cleaners. They say this:
1. SKU: 13700-17E00 ---CLEANER ASSY, AIR MODEL P MODEL P 2. SKU: 13700-17E01 ---CLEANER ASSY, AIR MODEL R/S MODEL R/S How would you be able to tell if your bike is Model P or R/S? |
