Intruder 1500 LC keeps idling too high

I have a 2001 Intruder 1500 LC and it has suddenly developed a habit of idling too high. When I pull up to a traffic light the idle will remain way too high. I'll have to let out the clutch a bit and then the idle calms back down. Almost feels like the choke is stuck on but the choke knob is pushed all the way in.

Thanks for any suggestions?
