Default are all the spring bsa air rifles only averaging 665 fps?

in .22 cal, and also do they come with a shrouded barell at the airguns of arizona do they?

The f p s (feet per sec) on any spring rifle is not just dependent on the spring, the weight of the pellet is also crucial. ie a heavy pellet would have a lower f p s than a lighter one. airguns are limited by law to a power of 12 foot pounds.All 22 air rifles at the maximum allowed power would give an f p s of between 500 to 650 depending on pellet weight and power output. 177 calibre could have speeds up to 850 f p s due to much lighter pellet. er wots this got to do with motorbikes?

im not sure what you mean by spring but I know you can get a pneumatic gun that can go up to 785 fps. Ive seen a spring gun that will go up to 350fps.

Im getting the Crosman Quest 800x which is a break-barrel, .22 cal. and shoots 800fps.
