I owned a 441 Victor. Very reliable. vibrated a lot. Friends used to have the 250 singles (? I thought the were 250. but maybe 350?). They revved higher and didn't seem to vibrate as bad. Good power and more reliable than the triumph tiger cubs. Any bike this old will require work finding parts.

I would buy it just for the nostalgia of it. I would probably restore it and use it in car/motorcycle shows.

Unless you are a very experienced mechanic this bike should only be purchased as a collectible, or antique, bike. Yes there are a few spares around, but very few. The bike is over 50 years old and no matter how good the condition is, it will break and parts are next to impossible to find, unless you live in the UK (then they only nearly impossible to find). By the way, the BSA factory closed in 1972, more than 35 years ago. It is not recommended that you buy this bike for a daily rider. In its day it was used widely used and a popular racer. If you really like the style of that era, you would be better off buying a new Royal Enfield Bullet 500cc Classic ------
