Default Where can I get a small motorcycle helmet, not full face, that is DOT approved?

I ride a cruiser and I've been looking to purchase a small helmet know as"lids"that is DOT approved. Most of the small helmets that I've tried are still too bulky. I bought one thru internet"Skid helmet", but it is still too thick. I want a small slimmer helmet that is DOT approved. Where can I get/buy it?

DOT does not test or approve helmets. The maker certifies the helmet meets DOT standards. You can buy"DOT"stickers if all you want is to avoid hassles with the man. I ride without a helmet even in states that require them personally. ------
