i have 2 neon rings around my headlights on my aprilia sr and each one has 2 wires.?

if i wire them staight to the battery then they work but cant be switched off. so i brought a toggle switch from maplins (sub-miniture) and it has 3 prongs on the bottom. how do i wire it? its so complicated for me
