Default Did Honda Make a Horizontally Mounted V-Twin in the 80's?

I am trying to find the model of a Honda I saw parked the other day. It had Honda badge , but had a horizontally mounted V-twin (think Moto-Guzzi). It also had a 2 into 2 exhaust with one pipe one each side for it's respective Cylinder. It looked to be an 80's something UJM. Anyone Know what this thing is? Or is it possible that it was a parallel twin that I a mistaking for a V?

In '78 it was introduced as the CX-500, later it came in two additional variants, the CX-500 Custom and CX-500 Deluxe. Later it was upgraded to a 650, one model even sported a turbo charger. There was one Variant called the Silverwing (not to be confused with today's uberscooter) - it was dubbed the GL-650.

It was a pretty good motorcycle in it's day.
