Got to confess I've never owned a Ducati, but certainly have (like most) been drawn to the things!

Someday (somehow, someway...) would hope that I get to have at least one Italian-made bike in my stable... most likely a Moto-Guzzi. :D Got to admit even after all these years, I still think the Benelli 750-Sei is just beautiful (if probably not totally practable) – at the very least what a ‘collectible’! ;-)
The one thing that always especially fascinated me about the Ducati’s is the at least Circa 70’s ‘Desodromic Heads’ in which Rocker Arms were used to both Open AND Close the Poppet Valves rather then rely on Conventional Valve Springs. I’m wondering if anyone out there ever dealt with these?! Were they good, bad, or just plain ugly? ;-) Or perhaps Ducati still has a model so equipped?! ;-)
