ktm that does not run?

I own a 97 ktm 250 exc it starts and runs for about 5 seconds then stops does anyone know what might cause this?its a 97 ktm 250 exc 2 stroke it runs for about 5 seconds then stops cleaned carby when it stops i pulled spark plug out it was wet any ideas whats wrongchecked filter fuel runs freely to carby
