It amazes me how hot it gets out there. We took 4 waters, bought 2 cokes, and finished off a huge glass of iced tea that I always carry with me, and I still felt sick at the end of the day. Damn heat stroke. This chubby white girl isn't used to being in the sun that much!

Races kicked ass. We got to see Miguel put the move on Jake........man that guy still has plenty of tricks up his sleeve.

Got to talk to Aaron Yates. I showed him his painting and he really liked it. I think he was a little shocked, but at least he finally got to see it! But he was on his way to the track for a race, so I at least got to show him.

The other races were awesome too. Pits were good. Tons of people! No car show in the middle of it all to take up the room for the vendors.

I didn't get a chance to talk to Matt.......but I did get to see him......he cut all of his hair off! I wanted to ask him about getting a painting, but he was no where to be seen. His windshield was broken after the last race......don't know what happened there.............

I did get a chance to talk to Ben Spies' Mom........I asked her how heavy Ben't trophey was................she said that it was big enough to put Matt Mladin's baby in and give her a bubble bath! Pretty funny.

So, standing there waiting by the Yoshi truck..........who do I see? Mr. Rich Oliver hanging out and enjoying people watching. So, I go over to get an autograph and strike up a conversation.......nice guy............showed him the photos of the paintings, and he loved them, took a card, and who knows.........maybe get to paint Rich? Only time will tell. All in all, it was a great day......loud........damn some of those bikes are insanly loud..........hot, good company, and photos are being developed as we speak! Pics coming soon!

Our bikes ran great, and Alex and the babysitter had a great time too.

fantastic,that sounds like a good time.
I have news for you a lot of the tracks no matter where can get that hot,one year at mid=ohio peple were dang near passing out from the heat.those places are all like heat bowls I imagine from looking at he layout at Inf its a real cooker.
