Default 2002 Honda VTX 1800 C... tranny??

The bike sat over winter in my garage from Nov-May. The other day I rode it and it was tough and sometime's didn't want to go into 3rd and 4rth gear. Oil level's are good. Had to work the clutch a few time's before going. Will it work itself out, or do I need to do something else? Thanks.Thank's for your answer's. I have rode bike's for 11 year's all in cold Nebraska and have never had this problem. I properly winterized it like I alway's do. This year I just don't know what happened or what is wrong. I thank you all for your input.
