Default The best way to remove factory sticker from Gas Tank?

Hubby just got a new Honda VTX 1800 and it has that ugly"Warning"sticker right smack dab in the middle of the tank. What would be a good product to remove it without damaging the paint or finish? We've heard everything from a heat gun to wd-40.His last bike the sticker was already removed.Thank you for any suggestions.I thought the heat would damage the finish that's why I was skeptical.

Yup, did it on mine. Hair dryer to heat and peel. GooGone to remove any remaining glue. Took the badges off the side of the tank and side covers too!
