I am interested in buying a motorcycle that would be sufficient for both short and long rides both in-town and on a highway. I want a comfortable bike, one that would carry an additional rider comfortably as well. In my little research I am considering one of these two bikes. What thoughts can you share? I am 56, 5'10"tall, 205 lbs, fit, not looking for a racing bike but one that has power/punch. I know to take a training course and to ride intelligently. PS: I am not impressed with noisy bikes. It is OK for others; but I'd prefer a bike that would be quiet and smooth. I am also looking for one that would be a good value for the dollars spent and one that would be most reliable. Thank you for any advise you may give.
