Ducati 749 or Honda CBR 600 RR?

I am in middle of buying a Motorbike.I live in NY and i have one 2 optionsDucati 749 2006 year.. 13K + and faboulous lookingHonda CBR 600 RR.. 8K + .. cheap and good..which one should i go for.. i am split between the handling of Honda and amazing power and grip of Ducati.and then there is Price as well..from a point of view of a pure motor Head.. which one is a better bike to ownand if not Ducati 749..what about ducati 1098 i have heard a lot aba it !!!i also rode new CBR.. hell they flew.. the mid range grunt was great

Well, unless you've got lot's of money to burn, I'd go with the CBR. If you buy the Ducati, there goes 13K, plus expensive maintenance, and higher insurance. The Ducati is the better bike though.

ducati for sound and looks, but it will keep you broke in service cost, for no big cost the honda,sell the wife or girlfriend and buy the duke cheaper in the long run,japenese ==reliable .. ducati = fun ,good handling ,will keep value, not so reliable, so go for the handa its better in the long term
