Good deal on a 1990 Honda CBR 600?

Hello, I am considering purchasing a 90 honda CBR 600 for my first bike, I see one on my local craigslist for $2500 with 10k miles, does this seem like a good deal? Anyone else own one of these older CBRs? Is there anything I should"look out for"? Thanks for you help!!

nooooooooo thats rediculous for a 1990 the bike is 7000 new and 18 years later they want 2500. $800 tops

It seems high unless there is some collector appeal. Beside it is 18 years old and that may may make for a parts problem. Keep looking, I think you can do better. Be sure you are up for a newer 600.
