My husband just bought one. What is the fastest bike of this kind? How fast is this bike capable of going? Anything else I should know such as problems etc?

They're all pretty similar the liter class sport bikes all within a few pounds and horse power. I have a 04 R1 and have 10k miles w/o any problems what so ever. My 99 was w/o problems as well and i put 30k miles on it before selling to get the 04. The 20 valve Yamaha's are pretty bullet proof. ------
