sliders on the bus

now i know this is a dumb question but can somone tell me if sliders get attached to the motormount or up higher where the fastener screws in, im guessin' on the motormount bout' 7 inches lower. thanks for the help...would hate to ruin my new plastic with holes in the wrong place.


shouldn't these things have come with instructions?

i believe it's the motor mount. i didn't want to cut my plastics either, so i decided not to buy sliders for the bus. but i do have them on my wife's gsxr1k, they bolt on the motor mount.

...i called the people at vortex and it is the motormounts... :roll:

playdoh trick

remove fairing
put playdoh in the area of the motor-mount bolt
replace fairing, push gently on area where playdoh is located
remove fairing

should have a nice dimple in plydoh where the motormount bolt is and you can drill your pilot hole, 2" circular works for the Intuitive sliders

fancy tip #627.........go to lowe's and find a nice black grommet to clean up the hole, looks sweet
