Default 2005 gsxr 1000 gauges and headlight not working

Got a 2005 gsxr 1000, a few days ago while riding the gauges and headlight went out, then came back on, now out, everything but the neutral light works, checked some fuses, no luck. Anybody? Saw on here a guy named Dennis had similar issues. Help!

Invest in a $10.00 ohm meter and then check the continuity of the electrical connections that goes from the main harness to the instrument panel and headlight. Have seen a few instances where the main wiring harness flexes when the handlebars are turned. Try moving the harness around and see if the gauges and headligh comes on. Sometimes the wire will break inside the insulation so there is no visible sign of breakage. I use two stick pins to penetrate the plastic coating and then check the continuity between the pins. No continuity? Broken wire.
