I am looking into getting a bike soon.the last time i rode a bike was 2 years ago. the bike was my first and it was an rsv mille and never had a problem with it. i know that dropping your bike is inevitable and expected it every time i rode my bike. thank you for the advice.

New rider? I have over 100K miles on bikes. I recommend you start with a class from these guys:http://www.msf-usa.org/index_new.cfm...se%20InfoAfter that, either is a wild ride. I prefer the R6, but either is a heck of a ride.

looking into getting a bike soon.....LMFAOpick either .... both of them will kill you....If you havent ridden a bike in the last 10 years or your a newbie.... you have no idea of the performance of these bikes....sub 12 second 1/4 mile times.... (that would be at least 5 seconds quicker than your car over 450 yards)

is it your first bike?? if yes, then i'd get an OLDER, CHEAPER bike. Cause you're learning. and if you lay it down, or drop it, you're not really out as much as you would be if you had a new expensive bike. And i'd recommend a 750. reason being, when you get more advanced/skilled at riding, the 600cc will seem"boring"a 750 still provides enough to keep your ass in check.if you're an experienced rider, i'd still say go for the 750. i'd just buy a newer bike.
