Default what type of rear tire should i buy for my Suzuki GSX-R 600?

this will be my first time buying a new rear tire for it, and i'm just looking for opinions as far as brands and styles.i don't do any track racing, mostly just highway riding.the size is 180/55/17.check my stats, i always select the best answer.

Probably stick with the manufacturers recommendation. If you change brands on the rear you may well want to change out the front too. It does matter.

I have 2002 telefonica 600 and just put on dunlop qualifiers. It is a much smoother ride! I have stayed with the factory size though and wish I would have gone a bit larger in the rear. Go to the dunlop website and order them they are nearly half the cost. Good luck. Keep your feet on the pegs and nose off the glass!
