Is a 750cc Motorcycle going to be enough?

I am looking at getting a 1994 Kawasaki Vulcan 750 to be used for both my wife and I to ride together. Will this size engine be sufficiant for the two of us?We're not tiny people....I'm 250 lbs and her....I'm not allowed to say :)
