Changed the pipes no a 1998 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 and now I'm told that I have to get the carburetor Re-jetted. Wondering how big a deal this is and what is the average price to get it done at a Kawasaki dealership. Any information on this subject would be great. Thanks

If you are mechanically inclined you could do it yourself with a re-jet kit or you'll need to take you Vulcan into the shop. Make a few call and get a couple of quotes on the job needed, parts and labor. www.denniskirk.com stocks the re-jet for your Vulcan.

Buy a stage one dynojet kit and follow the instructions, the bike will run a lot better throughout the rev range too, my vn did.Not too hard to fit and it beats running the bike too lean which will make it cough and splutter at best or overheat and damage the engine at worst.
