Purchase 1980's Honda Magna or Kawasaki Vulcan 750?

I'm looking to purchase a mid 1982 to 1986 Honda Magna(700 to 750 cc) or a Kawasaki 750 Vulcan. Any advise from those who have driven both?

vulcan. a lot simpler and easier to work on and looks a lot better too.

My advice is don't.Get something more recent than 1986.In 1984-1985, there was some kind of taxation on engines bigger than 700cc, so a lot of motorcycles that were previously 750cc became 700cc (I have a 1985 Virago 700). This made"notch year"models for which parts are hard to come by and more expensive when you DO find them. Situation totally sucks.
