Of course the dealer wants as much as you will pay. Remember you are in the driver's seat. You can offer what ever you want. Remember you can always go up but you can't go down. Start at less than you think they will sell for and make an offer. You should have a limit and be ready to walk. You can always go back with a different offer if you think they are in the ball park. You don't have to be nasty, just say you have to think about it.
I would look at the used market. There will be some almost new bikes out there and you can usally buy them for quite a bit less money. Motorcycles depreciate fast It is nice though to have the dealer on your side so that you have his support with anything you may want to do |
