where to put oil in the engine in a kawasaki vulcan 1500?

its a 94 vulcan 88 1500, i know how to drain it, but i cant figure out where the replacement oil goes into.Where is the oil fill cap? I need a location on the bike. I see the gauge to vew the level of the oil, but thats about it.

Same place you go to check the oil.

It's the big round cap in the middle of the right side engine cover. You would think it would be on the top of the motor like a normal bike, but no, that would be too easy. It will help to have a buddy hold the bike over so you can get the oil in. It's a pain in the a#$!

Not only a pain in the butt...but after you have to remove the air cover to use the wrench to open the plug then the hole is so close to the clutch the oil barely had room to pour in, too. Forget about a normal funnel going in. You can bump the clutch around to get a little better clearance, but it still takes forever to dribble 3 quarts of oil for a normal change.

I have a 96 1500a Vulcan. I never have any problems putting oil in. And believe me she drinks it like it's going out of style!! LOL It's the big round thing ya can open with a big coin. Later and good luck!!!
